Trips
Thanks to us being able to recruit another part time driver, Michael Scutt, we are now able to offer a few Saturday trips again as well as the regular Tuesday ones. Thanks to us being successful in accessing a grant, the cost of the trips will again be subsidised, £10 for Okehampton and along the route. We may be able to include pick up from other areas if there is enough demand for an extra £2. Please be ready for collection from 9am to ensure the driver is not held up. Please let us know if you need to cancel a trip, don’t wait until we ring you the day before with the pick up time as we have already worked out our route and rung other passengers. Thank you. If you have any suggestions of places you would like us to include then let us know and we will try and include them.

Thank you
We are grateful to the Okehampton Lodge of Obedience for their kind donation of £300. Sue was invited along to an open day to hear about their work and accept the cheque.

We are also grateful for the grant received from the Masonic Charitable Foundation and Devonshire Freemasons which is for £5000 per year for 3 years, a great boost to our services. 3 representatives visited the office to hand over the Certificate and took the opportunity to find out more about our services.
We would like to thank Lynn Lane and the Forget-me-not Café. This organisation was disbanded recently and they generously decided to donate the funds they had remaining in their account amounting to £500, to our charity as many of our clients had used their services too.
Drivers
We welcome Penny Meadows (Okehampton) to our team. Unfortunately we have had to say goodbye to Jenny Norman, we thank her for her many years of service.
Volunteers Week
As part of Volunteers Week we held two afternoon teas at The Old School Tearoom at Belstone to enable as many as possible to attend, for our wonderful drivers as a small appreciation of our thanks. Thanks to Marion for the wonderful cakes and scones as always.

Website
Please sign up to our website www.odctg.co.uk for the latest updates. We have recently added a new section ‘Meet the Team’ so you can learn more about our staff and volunteers.
Wheelchairs
We have wheelchairs available for hire in our office. Please speak to us if you would like more information. We also currently have a nearly new mobility scooter available and two walkers.
LocalGiving
We have set up a local giving page to raise funds towards our services, the link is http://www.localgiving.org/Okehampton if you would like to look at our story.
Legacy
If you have had good service, please remember us in your will. Thank you.
