What’s your idea!

If you have an idea or suggestion for our services, fund-raising or how we can involve more of you in our social occasions we would be delighted to hear from you. The best way to do this so we don’t jam the phones is to email

I would like to thank our Hatherleigh reporter on the ground…..  Lynne Neville, who has suggested that when we plan our coffee morning in Okehampton, we include our towns & villages, either by arranging transport or holding events in other areas. Great idea, thank you Lynne, and with this in mind, please see below the fantastic volunteering opportunity for 2024!

Community Champions – kick off your New Year the helpful way!

If you are making a New Year’s Resolution, what better way to start than to offer to help us at ODCTG.

So don’t make another New Year’s resolution that you may break… have a chat with us and do something to make a real community difference…. Become a Community Champion with ODCTG!

For instance;

  • Arrange coffee mornings in your Town or Village
  • Check that we have information and recruitment volunteer driver posters up in surgeries, community spaces etc
  • Share potential fund-raising ideas
  • Meet up with the team and other Community Champions approximately 4 times a year to share ideas and coordinate efforts
  • Help arrange social days for all volunteers

If you are interested in any of the above please contact Paula for a friendly chat.
