Community Car Service
The Community Car Scheme complements the Ring & Ride service and provides for more individual one-off journeys. Transport is provided by volunteer drivers using their own vehicles.
This service is available at any time, subject to driver availability, and we are able to provide a wheelchair-accessible vehicle if required.
Booking requests may be made between 8.30am and 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Fares & Payment
Passengers are charged mileage at 55p per mile, with a minimum charge of £6 for journeys of 7 miles or less.
Wheelchair-accessible transport is charged at 85p per mile from our Okehampton base.
There is a £3.00 booking fee on all journeys except the journeys of 7 miles or less.
